About The Glenside Girls The Glenside Girls have been around since 2006, after watching the movie Calendar Girls, friends and neighbors, Pat and Clare thought they could do this too, after all, Pat and Clare lives have both been touched by cancer. Pat's son had hodgkins lymphoma. Clare's daughter had thyroid cancer. Pat had been fund raising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since 2002.
After talking to their neighbors Pat & Clare were able to convince them to "take it all off for a cure". Thus the Glenside Girls were born. This is their 8th year of selling the calendars. They are sold in and around the business in Glenside and Jenkintown. All the proceeds from the sale of the calendars go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
